We have had our first IUI.

Well it is offical. We are now waiting to see if we are pregnant. On Thursday I did my usual of peeing on a stick to see when I was going to ovulate. It came back positive. So on friday morning I called the Doctor's office. They had me come in at 1pm. They did the IUI and now we are waiting. Hopefully it takes. I go have blood work done on the Dec 12 to check some of my levels. And then I think that around the 20th we will be able to find out if we are going to have a baby! I am so excited about this. The process wasn't as bad as I thought that it would be. It was more like going to your yearly PAP. It only took about 10 minutes to do and afterwards I had to lay there for 5min. I can't really belive how fast this process has gone. I really thought once we decided to do this that it would be a really long process but it hasn't. Hubby is so excited last night I was feeling really tired and cramping a bit which the Dr told me would be normal. Hubby went to Sarah's to help her put up her outside Christmas lights and when he came home made me some hot Chocolate to make me feel a little better. I must say it did. When ever I am having cramps it seems to help to have something warm in your tummy to make them feel some what better. Now I have been thinking about all the things that I should or shouldn't eat or drink. I want to do all the right things to give the baby the best possible start. I have been taking the prenatel vitamns for the last 2 months like the Dr told me to. Hubby is so funny he is always asking me if I need or want anything but I have noticed since yesterday he is doing it even more. When I tell him no that I am fine he gives me this look like are you sure? I love him so much and I am excited to be doing this with him.

Oh yea and today we have gotten our first big snow fall!! Do you know how much I love the snow?!?!? Well I love it alot especially when it happens on the weekends and I don't have to drive in it. I can just take Dakota and watch her jump around and play in it. I really love this time of the year with all the lights and snow..

I feel that I can now talk about this!!

I have been waiting a while to share my news, but now it seems that everything is going so quick!!

I am so excited! Hubby and I have decided to expand our family. Yep that is it we are going to try to have a baby!! We decided to do this about a month ago. I went last week to see my Dr. about what all we need to do. So he put me on prenatal vitamins and we talked about losing weight. Today I called Ohio Reproductive Medicine to make my appointment with them, since we are going to have to use a sperm donor to have our little bundle of joy!! (for those that don't know why that will be another post.)I am so freaking excited I have been baby crazy for a while, but what makes me really excited is to see how excited Hubby is!! I think he is actually more baby crazy than I am, (if that is possible)!!

I will update more as I get more info about what I find out after my next Dr appointment next week.
